Reflections in Tea

Welcome to the inaugural offering of our blog.

My hope is to give you tea tips, recipes and product information that will inspire you take a sip. Are you a creature of habit? Always opting for the same choice? Well, let’s get adventurous. Shall we? I hope I can introduce you to some new teas to try and share with friends.

We know tea can be pricy. It’s an investment. So, what if you could purchase smaller amounts? Introducing our new smaller tea pouch size. It’s 2 ounces, enough for a few cups. Enough for you to get acquainted and decide whether this is the start of something good,” Let’s commit.” Or you may declare “I am not a fan!” and toss the leftovers in your rose garden, without having to break the bank. We’re excited about this! We hope you are as well. By the way, you can throw your brewed or unused loose tea in the compost bin. So, please do.

Tea Sampling at home made simple . . .

You can now try different teas without purchasing a full size pouch or tin. 2 ounce sampler pouches are now available

Here's where we will share recipes. Yes, maybe even our baked potato soup. Possibly, some others you have been asking for, too. But, also, we’ll have tips about adding tea to your recipes. If you enjoy a cocktail by the pool, we have some fun recipes that may interest you. Hint: They include tea.

Antoinette’s Berry Cocktail

“Let them drink cocktails!”

Brew a cup (6 ounces) of our Marie Antoinette Tisane. Set aside to cool.

In a shaker filled with ice place:

2 1/2 ounces vodka

Cooled brewed tea

1 ounce raspberry syrup

1 dash orange bitters

Shake, pour into a cocktail glass

Garnish: raspberry and mint

You can cook with using tea as an ingredient brewed or loose leaf. Some examples are. Some French pastry chefs add earl grey and green tea to French macarons. Any spice tea is the perfect ingredient to add to a pumpkin spice cake or infuse into caramels or chocolate during the holidays. Try brewing a tea bag into your hot cider or wine this year instead of mulling spices. You can also infuse brewed tea into a cocktail. We will have some recipes for you later on. Some other uses may be a foot soak, aid for puffy eyes, crafts, fabric dye and of course composting.

Green Tea French Macaron

Pair a green tea macaron with your favorite tea. Our Cherry Blossom Green Tea is the perfect pairing.

What other uses can you think of?

We hope to offer tips on tea parings as well.

And of course, new products. There will be lots of them!

Pink & Gold Paris In A Cup Logo Cup & Saucer

Using an antique European mold our logo cup and saucer is shipped to the US and hand decorated with our logo in gold. An ideal gift.

Do you notice a common thread here? I used the word “hope”, a lot. Because, “Where there is tea, there is hope.”

I HOPE to see you soon.

Merci

A bientot
