Every February Paris In A Cup celebrates love but in a different way than most. We like to celebrate the love of our best friends.

That could be anyone. It could be your spouse or partner. Maybe it’s your mom, your dad, your sister, or your best friend.

As human beings we are blessed with the capacity to spread love and kindness. One of the most heartwarming ways to share love is by supporting animal rescues. These unsung heroes work tirelessly to provide shelter, care, and second chances to animals in need.

Brandee, my daughter, and I have had the pleasure of working with these amazing people for several years. They do incredible work. Their volunteers, that means no one is paid, work tirelessly to rescue, rehab and rehome dogs that would otherwise die from neglect, abuse, or euthanasia in overcrowded shelters. I have personally seen the difference they can make and the transformations. It is nothing less than heroic. Heroism does not come cheap. It costs tons of money to do what they do and it’s all funded by donations from nice people like you. They receive no government funding.

Just so you know, even though they are a German Shepherd Rescue, and they do get purebred shepherds, they will take other breeds and mixed breeds, into their lifeboat. My daughter’s dogs are both shepherd mixes, and our Gracie was also. They were all adopted through GSROC.
